this was inspired by a walk that my partner went on at the tail-end of winter; there was still ice sticking to rocks, but their underbellies were just beginning to melt away. at first glance we thought there were little fish swimming under the sheets of ice, but upon further inspection it turned out to be beads of water trying to escape. it was another reminder that nature is so magical. :]
